Discussion on Creating Formal Board Member Roles

• Rotating roles for meetings but establish some (semi)permanent roles
  • e.g., treasurer, data manager
  • Data manager role: annual reports; update instructor list, volunteers - For remainder of year: Audrey- ‘acting’ data manager (working with Geraldine) - Brandon- treasurer

Carpentries Funding

-Althea: ~$2000 for 2020-21 available - Allocated as state funds not used, must be used (or designated for use) by June 30th (or few days before) - Summer conference funding? - Additional instructor training funding (+1 or more applicants) - Will assess after next week’s meeting to score/select instructor training
